  2. SE Pine | East/Left
  3. Laurelhurst Park at SE 33rd Ave. | East into park, stay right on path
  4. Laurelhurst Park | Near eastern park boundary, head north, circling Firewood Lake
  5. SE Ankeny St. | East/Left

Northeast

  1. NE 32nd | Right/North (crosses Burnside)
  2. NE Couch St. | Right/East
  3. NE Laurelhurst PL | Left/North (crosses E Burnside St.)
  4. NE Davis St. | Left/Southwest
  5. NE Floral Pl. | Right/North
  6. NE Imperial Ave. | Right/Southeast
  7. NE Hazelfern Pl. | Right/West
  8. NE Irving St. | Right/West (crosses Oregon Park)
  9. NE 28th Ave. | Left/South (crosses NE Glisan St. and E Burnside St.)

Distance

About 4 miles for the complete loop.

Time

Two hours to walk the basic route, longer to explore Laurelhurst Park, watch the ducks on the pond, and enjoy the splendor of fall in the park and neighborhoods.

Terrain

Mostly flat sidewalks and paved rolling walkways, with a grassy crossing at Oregon Park.

Difficulty

Easy, but good walking shoes are a must with Portland’s notoriously uneven sidewalks.

Good lunch options are  Crema Coffee & Bakery and Wolf & Bear’s.
